Sharon’s Story

Sharon* walked through our doors on what would have been the due date of her baby. She had miscarried only months prior.  While talking to one of our client advocates, she also revealed that she had been pressured into an abortion a few years ago. She wondered if the miscarriage was her punishment.

Her advocate walked her through these difficult emotions of grief and feelings of guilt. She was given assurance that the miscarriage was not the result or punishment from having an abortion.

During her appointment, she received an ultrasound due to a positive pregnancy test. The ultrasound determined that she was pregnant again with a baby showing a healthy heartbeat. Sharon was ecstatic! Despite some challenges in her life, she is now excited and ready to bring her child into the world. Salem Pregnancy is grateful to have had the opportunity to encourage and share the love of Christ with Sharon.
